Dustin McIntee represents clients with guardianship, conservatorship, and other special needs-related legal matters; he also practices in the areas of estate planning, business and nonprofit law, tax problem resolution, and civil and criminal litigation. Prior to joining Kennedy & Ruhsam Law, Dustin was a solo practitioner
in Asheville, North Carolina, operating a practice focused on business and nonprofit law, guardianship matters, and criminal defense. Dustin brings a wide range of experience to Kennedy & Ruhsam Law and has worked with clients in many different situations facing a variety of legal problems.
After completing his undergraduate work at the University of Minnesota, Dustin earned his Juris Doctor from Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Dustin practiced law in western North Carolina for six years before moving back to Minnesota in 2019. While in North Carolina, Dustin also taught college-level courses on criminal justice, constitutional law, contract law, and ethics. Dustin currently lives in northeast Minneapolis. Outside of practicing law, Dustin coaches high school football and track and field for Minneapolis South High School; he is certified by USA Track and Field and has helped multiple shot put and discus throwers qualify to compete in the state championship track-meets in Minnesota and North Carolina.
Dustin and his wife Tiffany also enjoy long road trips and have traveled to, and through, more than half of the United States together.
