Jordan Sisto is a new member of the Kennedy & Ruhsam team. Jordan primarily advises and represents clients administering state and federal grant funding in matters of operational compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Jordan also handles various civil defense matters for Kennedy & Ruhsam tax and estate clients. Prior to joining Kennedy & Ruhsam Law, Jordan worked for a civil litigation firm in Lake Elmo, Minnesota practicing insurance defense focusing on construction defect litigation and regulatory board as well as workers’ compensation defense. Jordan clerked with the First District Public Defender during law school and immediately thereafter representing public defense clients as a certified student attorney. Before becoming an attorney, Jordan spent over a decade interfacing with state agencies and administration working in various capacities in social services in Pennsylvania, Alaska, and Minnesota.
Jordan attended Crown College in St. Bonifacius, Minnesota, where he graduated with Bachelors of the Arts in both English and Psychology with a third major in Religious Studies. He attended Mitchell Hamline School of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota, where he earned his Juris Doctor.
Jordan currently lives in Woodbury, Minnesota, which he describes as “a great place for lunch.” Outside of the office, Jordan enjoys suffering through triathlons and fitness competitions as an excuse to bake (and eat) decadent desserts. Jordan’s best friend is his cat, Nitro, who is a very good boy.
